Cat Fencing & Fence Brackets

Professional Service
Catworks team did an absolutely amazing job netting off our pergola and adding a cat walk to the fence. Couldn’t be happier with end result and my 2 Cats love it. Catworks is also one of few Cat Enclosure company’s that offer a payment plan if your not willing to pay 100% upfront.

Purrfessional Cat Fencing for Safe, Happy and Active Cats

Free-roaming cats tend to have a shorter life expectancy due to being exposed to feline diseases, animal attacks, traffic accidents, injuries and extreme weather conditions. However, confining your cats indoors is not a practical solution and often brings adverse effects to their health and behaviour.

Installing a cat fence enclosure is a great way to provide pet cats with controlled exposure to the outdoor environment, in a safe and secure outdoor space where they can roam freely without any dangers. Not only does it keep them healthy and active, it protects them, and ensures they do not cause harm to the native wildlife or neighbourhood pets.

Catworks have been providing specialised cat fencing in Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula and the nearby areas for over 15 years. Our strategically designed angled fence extension brackets come with a sturdy, flexible and UV-resistant mesh that is higher, harder to climb and yet feels open.

Now you no longer have to worry about your cat getting lost or not getting enough exercise and stimulation. We will install a cat-proof fence in your Melbourne home, so your cats can enjoy spending time outdoors while you remain worry-free knowing that your cats are happily playing and exploring within their own designated space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Each style of enclosure will usually be completed within 1-2 working days and with minimal disruption so you can let your pet out ASAP.

You will be surprised by how open our enclosures are. Cat netting is unobtrusive and blends in with its background. When it’s pulled tight and clipped into place it still allows natural light and airflow to flow through.

This usually depends on the athletic ability of your cat, but yes if your cat is highly motivated it can climb or hang off the net.

Our netting is specifically designed for cats so if you do have an acrobatic cat, they will not be harmed by climbing, hanging or rubbing against the net, nor will their antics damage your enclosure.

To be honest, while the netting may deter some of these animals, it does not prevent them from accessing the inside of the enclosure. So if you are concerned that these animals may pose a threat to your cat, we can use snake or dog mesh as well as cat netting to ensure the enclosure is safe from any such threats.
Yes we do stock and install zips however they are not very practical. If you want to go in and out of your enclosure via a zip panel you need to ask yourself if you will be able to do so while preventing your cats from escaping as you pass through, especially if you intend to be carrying something as you do. We recommend installing a gate as it is easier and safer to pass through.

It’s highly unlikely but not a definite no. Animals find it difficult to walk across the netting and tend to avoid getting on top of it. Once we heard of it being used as a hammock by a lazy cat but it’s safe to say it’s not going to become a wildlife crossing.

While we do cater to special requests, we primarily service cat owners. However, you can always reach out to us if you want to build an enclosure for pets other than cats and we’ll try the best we can to facilitate you.
